Seperti yang diketahui , Playstation 4 akan rilis tanggal 15 November. Bersamaan dengan rilisnya PS4, akan ada 15 games yang akan dirilis dalam bentuk blueray dan digital, serta 18 games berbentuk hanya digital serta 1 games yang dibundling dengan Playstation 4.

Game The Playroom, akan merupakan game preinstalled / dibundling bersama Playstation 4. Game ini akan menjadi tutorial dasar bagi para player dalam menggunakan DUALSHOCK®4, sekaligus penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality dalam bermain Playstation 4.

Sony juga mengumumkan sampai saat ini ada lebih dari 180 game PS4 dari berbagai developer besar sedang dalam masa pengembangan, seperti Destiny™ (Activision Publishers, Inc. / Bungie, Inc.), Diablo®III (Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.), Mad Max © (Warner Bros.Interactive Entertainment), Witcher 3 (CD Projekt), The Divison (Ubisoft Entertainment), Dragon Age (Electronic Arts), Shadow of the Beast, The Order:1886, inFamous™: Second Son, Rime, Hell Divers, Everybody's Gone to The Rapture, dan Resogun.

Judul-judul besar ini diyakini akan menjadi poin terkuat sony dalam penjualan console. Selain itu berbagai komunitas developer game Indie juga bergabung. Menurut perhitungan mereka, sejak Juni 2013, jumlah developer yang bergabung bertambah hingga mencapai 620 developer.
