آثار في جاوا الغربية...أقدم من الأهرامات...تتفاوت التقديرات بأن عمرها
ما بين 500 عام و 4700 عام بل وربما يكون عمرها أكثر من 10 آلاف عام!!!!


تشير حصيلة مسح جيولوجي وأعمال حفريات في مرتفعات جاوا الغربية في
إندونيسيا إلى وجود آثار يعود تاريخها إلى ما بين 500 عام وأكثر من 10000
عام قبل ميلاد المسيح عليه السلام. وتواصل السلطات عمليات الكشف عن أسرار
بناء قديم لم يكتشف له مثيل في جنوب شرقي آسيا.

As information , the researchers of Mount Padang Independent Research Joint Team consist of many Indonesia's best scientists, such as LIPO geologist Dr. Danny Hilman Natawijaya, former Indonesian Geologist Association (IAGI) General Chairman and an expert in paleosedimentology Dr. Andang Bachtiar, founder of Indonesian Archaeologist Community (MARI) and a UI archaeologist Dr. Ali Akbar, FIB UI culture expert Dr. Lily Tjahjandari, practitioner of architecture and landscape Pon Purajatnika, BFI expert in complexity and astronomy Hokky Situngkir, BPPT expert in civil modeling Dr. Budianto Ontowirjo, ITB petrographic expert Dr. Andri Subandrio, expert in state administration Prof. Dr. Zaidan Nawawi, and a number of other experts.

The team which is established upon the initiative of Presidential Special Staff for Social Assistance and Natural Disaster Andi Arief is a further follow-up to by-product findings from research on ancient disasters. The research itself is a main part of a series of efforts to mitigate recurring catastrophes. The establishment of this team serves as a government response to multi-disciplinary scientists' aspirations to make important contributions to the state.

Mount Padang Independent Research Joint Team employs various non-conventional methods, such as the usage of geo-electricity, geo-radar, geo-magnetism, and other geo-physical supporting devices. The team also employs satellite imagery, IFSAR photography, digital elevation model (DEM) contours and maps, from the data obtained, in addition to pale sedimentation verification in several drilling points used as sampling and petro graphic analyses.

The team's achievement in carrying out the archaeological excavation in some points has proved the hypotheses that there is a main building with the size of 15 hectares (equal to ten times Borobudur Temple) in Mount Padang which has been long buried. The total area of this structure compound with the size of 75 hectares shall not be considered merely as a cultural and archaeological achievement.

According to Andi Arief, this achievement forms a part of Indonesia's great history, that at the first time our scientists can independently (without any foreign involvement) discover evidence of an ancient cultural center which amazes the world due to its strong possibilities for changing the world historical map including that of Indonesia's.

"Even more important than the findings is that the team which consists of experts coming from interdisciplinary backgrounds and various institutions succeeded in building good coordination and in proving our nation's capabilities to the world," Andi ended his statement in Jakarta on Thursday (11/4).
