Iranian fighter jet crashes in Bandare Abbas

Oct 15 – An Iranian F4 fighter jet has crashed in the Iranian port city of Banadre Abbas on Saturday at the Persian Gulf, the news website Assre-Iran reported Monday.
The website added that the jet crashed while taking off at the military base and the two pilots were killed in the incident.
Citing an informed source Assre-Iran says that the rumors saying the fighter jet was shot over the Persian Gulf was not correct.
Over 60 Fantom-4 fighter jets bought by the former Iranian regime in the 70-ies are estimated to be still in service of the Iranian air force./-
