Rumpelstiltskin Grinder memang diambil dari salah satu Tokoh Antagonis Populer dari cerita Dongeng asal Negara jerman dengan nama aslin sebagai " Rumpelstilzchen " telah dibukukan kembali dongeng ini oleh penulis Brothers Grimm pertama kali mempublikasikannya dalam sebuah buku berjudul " Children's and Household Tales " tahun 1812 untuk pertama kalinya, karena menjadi begitu populer, hingga beredar dan berkembang ceritanya ga hanya dinegara Jerman, yang kemudian merambah ke negara England, Swedia dan Netherlands, dikenal juga memiliki beberapa nama baru seperti Tom Tit Tot, Päronskaft dan Repelsteeltje. dan untuk menambah kesan yang jahat lagi, Patrick Battaglia Cs ini menambahkannya dengan kata " Grinder ", well menambah kesan aslinya sebagai bagian dari cerita dongeng, Imej band ini sendiri pun dibangun dengan cerita2 Humor sinting tertulis dalam setiap lirik lagunya. they stand out from the legions of 80s wannabes through their incorporation of melodic death/black and grind elements into the primal Bay Area energy they evince from their guitars. Thrash is the mortar, surely, but the pestle is something more decidedly 'extreme'. Materi kali ini disuguhkan secara kontenporer melalui 12 lagu Old School Death/Thrash dengan sentuhan yang terasa modern. In the past, I haven't had much interest in their records; not just because I found them cheesy and unfunny, but because their tendency and technique of throwing a bunch of influence at the listener never configured itself into particularly memorable riffing or songwriting. track awal " Those Who Are Unseen " menggebrak dengan cukup Enerjik melalui balutan Hitam Old School Thrash metal yang lebih menggunakan karakter Harsh Vokal dipadu dengan Growl Death Metal vokal dari Gitaris Matt Moore dan Bassis Shawn Riley. digeber dengan part yang cepat mengingatkan sekali Gw dengan karakteristik yang pernah di usung oleh At The gates, Exhumed dan Carcass ! As it turns out, though, this is a more cohesive and volatile product than tiehr of the preceding albums, a more muscular expression of the group's puerile purpose delivered across a dozen hymns of various fantasy, It grows more interesting as it proceeds into warlike, melodic thrash territory, but still forgettable ! dan 1 lagu tersebut cukuplah bagi gw untuk menggambarkan konsep Death/Thrash kental dengan balutan Melodic Part. dengan struktur musik yang lebih rapi dan terkonsep, band ini hampir menunjukkan kesempurnaanya di album baru ini. banyak sekali lirik lagu yang ga bisa gw cerna kata2nya, karena memang di ilhami oleh cerita dongeng dan Humor Gila, tentunya banyak persepsi yang gw tangkap berbeda. dan yang pasti Band ini selalu hadir dengan artwork Lukisan menarik pada setiap albumnya, yang kali ini menggandeng Vokalis Band Death Metal terkenal Florida, Monstrosity, Mike Hrubovcak kebagian menggarap konsep artwork kovernya, memang selain Jago dalam Berkoar, Mike Hrubovcak terkenal berbakat membuat Artwork Kover beberapa band terkenal seperti Cephalotripsy, Abominant, Being Killed, Avulsed, Sinister, XXX Maniak dan masih banyak lagi karyanya digunakan. With a bit more emphasis on its apparent strengths in musicianship and a few less cloying, dull breakdown segments, Buried in the Front Yard might have been a decent debut of modern thrash that kept one eye forward with the other on the past. The guitars are very chunky, and they seem a little off balance with the leads, though the muted melodies the band are constantly inhabiting sound bold enough. Rumpelstiltskin Grinder have put at least a little thought into it, and since they've done the same for just about every element of the music, it deftly manages to avoid the Pit of Suck. The production is good and even handed, impressive as they did it themselves; with a nice punch to the riffs; the one caveat is that the vocals are entirely too generic sounding and in dire need of some character.
