As the title suggests, I’m planning on becoming one, but don’t know where to start. I would really value some input on this matter.

I’m a fresh grad in accounting, so not English related. I was wondering what my chances are in breaking into the field?

My English is still lacking somewhat, save from a few very promising appraisals from the local pre-schoolers. Would that in any way prove to be a hindrance to my overall chance of success? What requirements, professional or otherwise, are usually expected of aspiring teachers, and how might one go about obtaining these in Indo (namely Jakarta)? One that comes to mind is the TEFL qualification. Anyone here has experience in those that they could possibly share here?

I currently do not have teaching experience of any sort. I would very much appreciate any advice, pointers, or even just a general “waddup” in my direction.
