Tanner, Tobias Jones, Jericho are back
John Tanner is recovering from a terrible crash that puts him into a coma. During the Coma, he is able to leave his body and enter other vehicles at will when his energy permits him to shift (shift meter). The more stunts he does, the more he can shift. During the story, Tobias and Tanner will be in Tanner's car together, and during that time, Tanner will be able to shift to and from other vehicles.
