13:00: CHEQUERED FLAG! It’s lunch time in Barcelona. There are no further improvements, so Hulkenberg ends the session as the fastest man. We’re expecting times to tumble at some point during the day, though.

12:55: A late improvement for Daniil Kvyat puts him up to fifth for Red Bull Racing. The Russian’s best time is now a 1:26.497.

12:48: GREEN FLAG! Not long until lunch, but most teams are trying to make the most of the remaining time.

12:38: He was actually on a personal best time before his off, so it may well be a driver error, but it’s unconfirmed currently.

12:34: RED FLAG! Rio Haryanto is off the circuit and onto the gravel trap.

12:22: Raikkonen has only done two laps, suggesting Ferrari still want to check out the car.

12:13: The Iceman is on track! Kimi Raikkonen makes an appearance on circuit for an installation lap. The problem may well be fixed.
