Migrants continued to stream into Croatia from Serbia on Friday, walking through fields around one of seven road border crossings that Zagreb closed after an influx of some 11,000 people in two days.
Croatia announced late on Thursday it had closed almost all road crossings from Serbia, saying it could not take in any more migrants.
But the flow continued unabated on Friday morning as migrants arrived by bus in the Serbian border town of Sid and walked through cornfields to cross the border, joining huge crowds controlled by Croatian police.

Croatia 'cannot accept burden' over refugees
Quote:
Croatia’s Prime Minister has said his country cannot control the influx of migrants and refugees after more than 13,000 people crossed its borders since Wednesday.
Zoran Milanovic said Croatia "cannot and will not accept this burden" any more.
He said the country's Plan B is to no longer register and accommodate migrants and has called a meeting of the National Security Council.
Mr Milanovic said it is time for Croatia to deal differently with the crisis.
Earlier, Interior Minister Ranko Ostojic said the crisis in Croatia continues "it is a matter of time" before the country shuts down all border traffic.
Last night Croatia closed seven of eight road border crossings with Serbia.
Mr Ostojic told N1 television that the country’s capacity to take in more refugees is saturated.
"Traffic is banned on the border crossings of Tovarnik, Ilok, Ilok 2, Principovac, Principovac 2, Batina and Erdut," the interior ministry said in a statement.
Crowds began heading for Croatia after Hungary sealed its border with Serbia earlier this week.

Croatia slams Hungary's decision to close border (ANSA) - TRIESTE - Croatia's prime minister has criticized Hungary's decision to seal its border with Serbia for migrants and says Croatia will not do the same. Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic told Parliament on Wednesday "we are ready to accept and direct those people." He adds "they will be able to pass through Croatia and we are working intensively to enable that." Milanovic says 150 people have already crossed into Croatia to avoid Hungary's closed border and Croatia's national security council will convene to address the situation. Referring to Hungary's fence, Milanovic says "barbed wire in Europe in the 21st century is not an answer, it's a threat." About 80 people crossed early Wednesday from the Serbian border town of Sid, following an all-night bus ride from the southern border with Macedonia. Dozens of police and aid workers waited for the migrants in Croatia, where they are being registered. Local media say some migrants sought to cross in through nearby fields to avoid registration.
