i like their dramas (i prefer j-drama though). i like their variety shows (especially running man, it's funny and makes me laugh). i like their songs too. but some songs are enjoyable when i watch the MV. in most cases are the girl groups. only the music? simply plain and boring. not worthed listened over times. btw, big bang alive 5th mini album is the best in my opinion so far. boom shaka laka~

I ever love koreans before. But, its about 7years ago when korean wave like as we know now.

Now, I didn't like it again. Maybe I'm bored.

In my opinion, Korean wave provides a new perspective of creativity, while the other pioneer of trend like hollywood meet their deadlock of creativity. If you observe it deeper, you can find that artists such as movie director, fashion designer and musician recycle 70's to 90's style.Nowadays, movie theather is full of recycled story. They just modify spiderman, sherlock holmes, and other comic characters to make a new movie, yet koreans show how great creativity they have by making varied style and fresh-storyline movies instead. The only aspect hollywood better than korean is just about technology.

Hollywood now is able to bring whatever in human imagination into the movie, even a doom day, still they only focus on technology of animation, audiences will only amazed at the early time they watch, but they will get bored later. But if they focus on the storyline, audiences will never get bored, because they will meet a new things, a new value, a new amazing-thing everytime they watch. And this is where korean outplayed.

korean wave for me is just bunch of people forming a group, dancing and singing, in other words, kpop. to be honest, kpop songs are so generic lately. to be honest, especially for indonesian (girls), most of their main reason why they like kpop (and so does korean wave) is the looks.
i believe korean wave is not just about kpop, they also are one of industrialized countries (for now).

I think it will end soon, just like other singers or bands that don't become "the real" them.

Uhm.. No. I’m not affected by it. I don’t like boyband nor girlband, be it Korean or Indonesian. I don’t like K-Drama either (or whatever drama it is, really. I am just not fond of watching drama). It’s just a matter of preference. Some people like them, some people don’t. As simple as that.

not realy likes kpop or movies,series actualy , in some cases if my friend recomend me to watch then i'll watch

Well, the western culture has been too long "impacted" our mindset of popular.. Korean waves bring something new and refreshment

i hate it because k-pop is really special to me...i live in Java and i don't know what i'll do if my non asian friends listened and talked about it you know? i feel that america will 'steal them away' and non asians will be into them and talking about them it'll be so bad.. it just won't be the same and when they get really popular in western countries they'll be outside of asia alot and then there'll be less variety shows with them and we'll see less of them on tv in korea and instead they'll be on american tv i really don't want that. i know they want to make it to us and i want them to be happy but when theyve spread outside asia, all over the world and everyone knows them..ah i don't know i just don't want it to happen

Yea,in matter of facts I must say that this korean waves and stuffs is becoming a mainstream in many countries beside it's pioneer a.k.a South Korea..and Indonesia is one of them for sure.thousands of unknown girlbands and boybands emerge from out of nowhere in this country..at first I thought it is improving our musician creativeness in this music industry..but as far as it gooes till now I'm getting bored with it..with all that dance stuffs,weird lyric's songs,and the voice of those girl/boybands that,fo myself,is ugly as hell (my opinion..)
